Pictures of the French Quarter

A photo essay of the New Orleans French Quarter

Below you will find a series of French Quarter photos.  Taken from around the French Quarter, these photos represent some of the sights that the New Orleans French Quarter has to offer.  The French Quarter is a very historic district in Louisiana.  It can easily trace its roots back to the 18th Century and has seen the rule of several great world powers.  Enjoy the photos of the French Quarter!

As you can see, the European legacy in New Orleans lives on to this day.  There are tributes to Italian, Spanish, French, and others immigrants all within the French Quarter area.  People can walk through the French Quarter and feel that they are literally walking in time.  From the Spanish-style balconies to its perfectly cut flagstone walkways, New Orleans has a funky feel to it that can only be experienced by experiencing it first hand.
