I love walking, both at home and when I’m traveling. I work in downtown San Francisco and regularly take “urban hikes” after work up the numerous giant hills surrounding the neighborhood – it’s the perfect antidote to sitting in an office all day. And walking really is the best way to get to know a new place, geographically and culturally.
