You may recall a few months ago when I was traveling in Spain. I went to Costa Brava in Spain’s Catalunya region and did a kayaking/snorkeling excursion there. When I was staying at my hostel there I met some very friendly and mature Norwegian teenagers who were backpacking around for a few weeks. We exchanged stories and I learned about the Nordic life from them. I enjoyed their company greatly! The day that I went on my excursion, one of them was kind enough to allow me to use his underwater camera to take some photos. I used the camera, but it stopped working during the dive. I left the camera for them at the desk the next day and didn’t get to see them before they left. They left me a note saying that they had to leave and would try to get the pictures to me later.
So fast-forward until yesterday.
I just received an email from Norway with my pictures. I was thrilled to find out that his camera started working again. Apparently, it had not been washed after its last use and some salt had crystallized under the battery casing, which caused it to have a slight amount of moisture. After letting it dry out, it started working again. Thankfully!
Anyways, I didn’t know what else to do with the pictures, and I thought that the best thing to do was to share them with you. Which is your favorite?

Snorkeling in Costa Brava was a really nice experience for me. I loved the small town that I visited there as well.

You should definitely do some snorkeling Rachel. It is well worth it.
Great pictures and a nice surprise after thinking they were long gone. I haven’t been snorkeling but want to someday when I travel to a warm place. This looks like great fun!

Thanks Marsha! It was certainly a pleasant surprise. It is cool to receive an email from a past friend after some time has passed.
I love the beach so this is another place for my bucket list. I didn’t know Costa Brava offers snorkeling for tourist. I always thought that going to places like these are good for tourists who are looking for a historical tour of some sort.
