As you can see, the European legacy in New Orleans lives on to this day. There are tributes to Italian, Spanish, French, and others immigrants all within the French Quarter area. People can walk through the French Quarter and feel that they are literally walking in time. From the Spanish-style balconies to its perfectly cut flagstone walkways, New Orleans has a funky feel to it that can only be experienced by experiencing it first hand.

the french quater reminds me old san juan
I agree Loriane. It is very similar. I find Old San Juan to be much more colorful, but the history of both are equally interesting.
